Request for Proposal (RFP): The District is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to design, permit, and construct a solar photovoltaic (PV) system at its Fresno office campus. The project includes solar PV arrays, parking shade structures, the retrofit of ten (10) Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the District's three regional offices, and a new spray polyurethane foam roof at the Fresno campus.

The District is currently seeking candidates to fill open positions on the five-member Hearing Boards. Openings include:

• Southern Region:Public Member Primary, Medical and Engineer Alternate (must reside in Kern or Tulare Counties)
• Northern Region:Primary and Alternate Public Member, Medical Alternate, Attorney Alternate, and Engineer Alternate (must reside in Merced, San Joaquin, or Stanislaus Counties)
• Central Region:Public, Attorney, and Engineer Alternates (Must reside in Fresno, Kings or Madera County)

Interested individuals must complete and submit an application. Recruitment will remain open until the positions are filled.

The District is accepting applications on an ongoing basis for the Environmental Justice Advisory Group (EJAG). Individuals interested in serving may submit an EJAG application at any time to be considered as vacancies arise. The current vacancies are as follows: (1) Small Business Owner, (1) Kern County At-Large Representative, (1) Merced County At-Large Representative, (1) Stanislaus County At-Large Representative.

The Governing Board approved the District’s 2026 Legislative Platform that establishes the District’s 2026 legislative priorities. Following approval of the platform, Staff will distribute the platform to the Valley state and federal delegations and will advocate for the District’s priorities with appropriate state/federal policymakers. A recent report by UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs Luskin Center for Innovation finds that the District's Tune In Tune Up Vehicle Repair Program not only has reduced vehicle emissions in the most environmentally disadvantaged region of the state but also has done so in an efficient manner that accomplishes equity in opportunity and benefit distribution. Worksites subject to the eTRIP rule (Rule 9410) are required to conduct a Commute Verification Survey no later than December 31 each year. This survey is designed to collect information as to how employees get to and from work each day during a week-long period. These worksites are also required to submit an Annual Report, consisting of the compiled results of the Commute Verification Survey, to the District by no later than March 31 of each following year.
