The District Governing Board adopted the Environmental Justice Strategy on Aug. 16, 2007 and amended it on Feb. 18, 2010 and again on June 21, 2012. This comprehensive policy serves as a roadmap which will guide the District in integrating Environmental Justice principles and augmenting the steps already taken by the District in reaching out to the community.
The amended Environmental Justice Strategy is available in English and Spanish.
In 2007, the District Governing Board created the Environmental Justice Advisory Group (EJAG), which assists the District with the implementation of the Environmental Justice Strategy.
