Clean Air Centers

The District’s Clean Air Centers are a network of publicly accessible facilities equipped with high-efficiency air filtration systems for Valley residents who may not otherwise have access to clean air during wildfire events.

Clean Air Center locations across the San Joaquin Valley can be found here.

Use the AirNow fire and smoke map or myRAAN.com to check current air quality at your location.

Know of a publicly accessible facility (like community centers, libraries and senior centers) that you think should apply? Send them to the Clean Air Centers Program to get an application started. Approved facilities agree to provide access to the public as a clean air shelter during wildfires and other smoke events.
