Due to unprecedented demand in the District’s Drive Clean in the San Joaquin - Rebate Program, funding for the current fiscal year has been exhausted. Applications for new clean vehicle purchase rebates received after December 22, 2023 will not be accepted. Applications received on or prior to the December 22, 2023 closure will continue to be processed. San Joaquin Valley residents who have purchased a qualifying vehicle have up to 18 months from the date of purchase to submit an application for a rebate. Therefore, should additional funding become available, residents may still be eligible to apply for a rebate at that time.
