2013 Plan for the Revoked 1-Hour Ozone Standard

The San Joaquin Valley Air District has developed a new plan for EPA’s revoked 1-hour ozone standard. Although EPA approved the District’s 2004 plan for the 1-hour ozone standard in 2010, EPA withdrew this approval as a result of litigation. The District’s 2013 Plan for the Revoked 1-Hour Ozone Standard was approved by the District Governing Board at a public hearing on September 19, 2013. The modeling confirms that the Valley will attain the revoked 1-hour ozone standard by 2017. The adopted plan is presented below.
